In less than 2-minutes, breakfast, lunch or a power-packed snack is served—rich in gut healing ingredients to soothe your tummy and leave you nourished (not curled in the fetal position on the floor with tons of stomach pain)!

Gut Healing AIP Smoothie #1: Gut Love Shake

AIP Smoothies, AIP gut healing smoothies


My classic “staple” breakfast in my 28 Day Gut Kickstart program I walk my patients through.

Liquid: 1 cup water OR kefir (coconut milk, goat’s milk kefir coconut water kefir) OR lite canned coconut milk OR homemade Tigernut milk

Fruit: Choose 1: 1/2 cup frozen berries or 1/2 green tipped banana or small green apple or other fruit of choice

Healthy Fat (choose 1-2): 1⁄2 avocado, 1 tbsp sunflower seed butter, 2 tbsp organic ground flaxseed, 1 tbsp MCT oil, 1 tbsp coconut butter

Greens: 2 large handfuls dark leafy greens (kale, lettuce, baby collards, etc.)

Protein: 1 scoop quality protein powder (collagen, beef isolate, grass-fed whey protein)

Optional Gut Boosters


Blend all ingredients in a blender.

Gut Healing AIP Smoothie #2: Veggie Mashup

Get your pre-biotic fiber and short chain fatty acids on! Eating different vegetables is key to healthy gut bacteria. Beneficial bacteria need fiber to populate. Fiber also acts as a binder to bind up toxins and get em out of your body. Use the veggie mashup shift the microbiome in a positive direction more effectively. 


Buy 15-20 different organic veggies of choice.

Examples: carrot, carrot greens, parsnip, mint, cilantro, fenugreek, parsley, dill, spinach, kale, bok choy, beet, broccoli, fennel, cauliflower celery, radish with greens, zucchini, kholrabi, turnip. 


  1. Process veggies to a pulp in a food processor. Mix well.
  2. Then spoon out and store in baggies or glass containers in the fridge or freezer to blend into a high speed blender along with water or liquid of choice for a daily smoothies.
  3. Add 5-6 heaping spoonfuls to a smoothie, soup or eat straight each day to get your veggies on.
  4. Add optional monk fruit to taste if desired.

Blend all ingredients in a blender.

Gut Healing AIP Smoothie #4: Vanilla Healing Milkshake



  1. Place all the ingredients, except the gelatin, into a blender and blend well until smooth
  2. Add the gelatin (if using) and stir well until it dissolves
  3. Transfer to a large glass, jar or other storage container and let sit in the fridge overnight. This allows the milkshake to thicken.  Serve and enjoy!

Gut Healing AIP Smoothie #5: Chocolate Frosty


frozen cauliflower florets, 3/4 cup or 1/2 green tipped banana

1/2 cup thick coconut milk

1 serving protein powder  (collagen, beef isolate, grass-fed whey protein)

1 tbsp sunflower seed butter or 1/3 avocado

1 scoop bovine colostrum powder or IgG powder

1 tbsp cacao or unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)

pinch monk fruit or pure stevia or 1 tsp. Manuka honey (optional)


Blend together in a blender. 

Gut Healing AIP Smoothie #6: Refreshing Green Smoothie

  • Ingredients
    1/2 cucumber, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery
  • parsley
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 avocado
  • power greens or spinach, 2 big handfuls
  • 1/2 cup water, unsweetened coconut milk or hemp milk
  • 1/2 large green apple, cored and chopped OR 1 tsp manuka honey + 1 tsp vanilla extract (if not using fruit) or monk fruit /pure stevia
  • 1 cup ice


Blend together in a blender.

Gut Healing AIP Smoothie #7: Golden Milk Smoothie


  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • organic rooibos tea or herbal chai tea or herbal ginger tea (2 bags or fresh leaves, prepared)
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger (if you do not opt to use ginger tea)
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp saigon cinnamon
  • collagen peptides or pure protein powder (1 serving)
  • 1 tbsp ghee or coconut oil (optional for extra creaminess)
  • optional: 1/2 cup fresh chopped pineapple OR sweetener of choice: maple syrup, Manuka honey, monk fruit, pure stevia


  1. Prepare tea on stovetop (boil water and add tea/tea bags), then let cool
  2. Add all ingredients together in a blender.

Gut Healing AIP Smoothie #8: Apple Pie Bone Broth Smoothie


1 cup chicken or beef bone broth (Kettle & Fire), room temp

1 cup baked or stewed apple

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 cup tigernut milk or coconut milk

1 tsp pure maple or manuka honey, or pinch monk fruit or pure stevia

1 tsp vanilla extract or 1/2 tsp vanilla powder

Collagen peptides

optional: toasted coconut chips on top for crunch


Blend together in a blender.
