Ingredients
- 3 lb organic ham (sugar free) or pasture raised whole chicken
- 2 large organic apples (honey crisp, gala, fuji, Granny Smith)
- 2 peaches (optional)
- 2-3 tbsp organic honey or 2-3 droppers monk fruit
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, alcohol free
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 cup filtered water
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
- Rinse the ham under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel and place in a roasting pan.
- Mix the sweetener and spices in a bowl.
- Add in coconut aminos and water and mix well.
- Using a basting brush or a spoon, brush your ham with your glaze.
- Core apples and peaches and chop into large slices.
- Spread fruit around your ham in the roasting pan, and brush fruit with the glaze and brush ham one more time.
- Place ham in the oven and bake until it reaches an internal temperature of 150 Degrees Fahrenheit. Every 20-30 minutes add more glaze to your ham until completion.
- Once ham reaches 150, remove from oven and cover with aluminum foil for at least 15 minutes to cool.
